Ready or not, here it comes and for once, I AM ready! Three quilts from our house will make appearances under trees this year and the tops are all completed! Two are already with Karen, the long armer genius and one will make its way there this weekend I hope. Here they are with a bit of their stories:

Where does time go? When you are in a pandemic, it moves incredibly slow while you are living it and incredibly fast in retrospect. Since I last wrote, I have finished five more quilts and started four others, Today was "appraise the finished quilts day." Jan Rodgers, my talented appraiser, got nine quilts done. We have maybe four more to do but that will have to wait for another day.

The global nightmare which began in March continues into summer as you all know and those of us in the good ole US of A, if we are paying attention and minding our Ps and Qs, have been sticking around home alot. ContinueGinnie, we've moved over to https://needlespot.com/groups/ because AQS is closing this site by end of April. Join us there if you like...we've formed a special group there called " Our quilt place". The site is non facebook and safe.
Of course I would love to be a friend to you, another Ginnie, even if we spell it differently. What's your middle name? Sure hope your knee replacements heal well and you are up and at 'em again soon.
Thanks for asking me to be you friend.
Ginnie... I love all the dedications, they are wonderful.
Just here to introduce myself and welcome you to MQP.
Sometimes we are not sure where to visit on this site but I wanted to let you know that I have a group of gals and I that are doing several different quilts the Blooming Nine and the Jewel Box quilts. We are posting pictures with our choices of fabrics and progress. Carla Walton has done several of the Blooming Nine so she is our administrator. Come on over to view what we are doing at http://myquiltplace.com/group/batik-strip-swap/forum/topics/projects-and-pictures?xg_source=activity.
To do the Jewel Box we have a Batik Strip Swap going on and we are using those strips for the Jewel Box. We just started a Charm Square Swap of either Batik or 100% cotton at http://myquiltplace.com/group/charm-square-swap?xg_source=activity today to use with our Jewel Box Quilt project. Just come on over to join and then you can decide if you want to swap or just do the quilt projects.
I have have been enjoying photos of your quilts, and hadn't realized they were all one person. Wow! Nice to have another friend.
