Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
30 years ago I spearheaded making a king sized quilt with my church women’s group. I’d never made a quilt before, but taught myself thru books. I rotary cut all the pieces, marked the 1/4 on them and taught them to hand piece. A few of us quilted it, then entered it in the Texas State Fair in the Group Quilt catagory. It won the blue ribbon! My husband bought it and we still have it. But life got busy, and only now am I getting back to quilting, making a crib quilt for my newborn grandson. I’m signing up to relearn all the hand quilting techniques I once knew.
