I'm starting a variation of the Lollipop Tree quilt. I think it will be wall hanging size. I've had a picture of this in my Ideas folder for a couple years, but since I don't like needle-work applique I figured it would never really get made. Now with my new Silhouette cutter and Heat & Bond I'm going to attempt it. It seems a great way to use up some of the pieces in my stash.

For those that read my earlier posts about the Cricut - here's the follow up. I returned the Cricut because you cannot make your own designs for cutting. After research I ordered the Silhouette Cameo.
The Silhouette Cameo cutter works for cutting fabric and it will cut my designs! I'm a very happy camper right now. These two Hawaiian designs were from EQ7 and converted with the basic software from Silhouette and then cut. They are 5" squares. Great detail and smooth cuts. Goody…Continue

I've just been watching a number of videos on using Cricut for cutting fabric. I've stayed away from getting one because I thought you had to use their cartridges for the designs. Now I see that you can design your own and send them via USB to the machine for cutting. Now I'm interested!

I have a quilt (soon to be finished) that I plan to donate to a local charity for their auction or whatever they would choose to do with it. It is queen size, embroidered, pieced and quilted. Where do you suggest that I look to get reasonable average pricing to substantiate a value for my taxes?
