- Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
- I have a very active business of my own that involves sewing but not the quilting that I am looking forward to doing when I get to my retirement years (whenever that is?). So even now I want to get involved with quilting and other quilters. I am a mother, grandmother and great grandmother, so there are lots of people who could benefit from my love of fabric and sewing.

- Lots of tops but only finished a few completely.

I had my 50th back in July and I thought 50 meant a big celebration, but it was just a regular day. Hubby had to work and my mom was going to come visit, but she cancelled at the last minute, so I was kind of bummed. She does that quite often; she lives about 2 hours away and doesn't like to come here because there's nothing to do. I'm in a really small town and there really isn't much to do here. But just visiting is enough for me! Anyway, spending the day quilting is a good way to spend the day! I hope you finish it!

Good Morning Sandra, Gardner is a good name, I have had it for 43 years. Hope you enjoy this site. I found it in March and have really loved looking at others quilts and now I am having fun with the Mystery Quilt as well as the Quilting Bee on this site. Fall is finally here and I have lots of projects calling me as the holidays near. Have a wonderful weekend.

Just wanted to pop in to say “hello” and introduce myself. I’m Linda Hubalek, fellow quilter and author from Kansas. Books about pioneer women are my specialty, with a cooking or quilting theme mixed into each historical fiction series.
My Trail of Thread in written in the form of letters sent back home while my ancestors traveled to Kansas. Each book mentions twelve old-time quilt patterns, and I put drawings of them in the back of the books.
So if you like to read—besides quilting—please enjoy my blog and book excerpts on my website. Besides printed as paperbacks, my ten books are also available for your Kindle or Nook.
I have about a dozen quilts made by my great grandmother, (that we used all the time when I was a kid) so I’m into antique quilts and patterns. What kind of quilts and patterns do you like to work with?
