Maartje,l was reading your blog about the ribbon postcards. The cards are lovely. The ribbons may please you more if you stretch them out, or, in other words, make them skinnier looking next time. l'm sure it was really hard just getting them in a circle on such a small-sized project...they'll go a lot easier on placemats, l'm sure:))

i really love your machine quilting. were you doing any at all before you started quiltcal gal challenge? if everything you are doing is a result of lessons thru that challenge, then. ...wow. ..that's all i can say, is ..wow!

Welcome to my quilt place ,Maaartje. You are obviously an accomplished sewer, even though new to quilting. You've done a lovely job on your quilts. Did you folloow Leah Day's 365 day challenge for tge sampler w/ all the colours?

l was born in Einhoven,my parents immigrated to Canada when l was an infant. l've been for a visit 3 X. I can understand some Dutch, and can speak some "Drenth's", but not read much. Last visit, l got a Jip  en Janneke book, and surprised myself that l could read it. l've often thought that tge illustrations would make a cute children's quilt.
