- Started quilting using books while in the Army and stationed in Hawaii. Had gone to the Bishop Museum and saw all the Hawaiian quilts. The last 10+ years have been hand dyeing fabric and doing art quilts.

Happy birthday, Kathleen~I hope you have a wonderful day!
I'm Bridget and I live in Seaside, Oregon. I don't have a guild, quilting group or classes to participate in, so I joined this site in hopes of meeting other quilters. I can't belive how many people I've met! The site has grown tremendously since I first came here back in April and now it's sometimes hard to keep up (I probably belong to too many groups!).
I started quilting quite by accident and I was totally hooked after the first one. I made quilts for all of my family members and wanted to keep making quilts, so now I mainly make quilts to sell and donate.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and happy birthday!
