I have been quilting for 50 years and belong to a large guild in Florida. I have also design a lot of my quilts and many I have made for family and friends. I have two children, my son is married and his wife and my granddaughter live in Kentucky.Just moved to Texas. My other is my daughter who does beautiful sewing and knitting. My peace of mind is when I am able to sit in my sewing room and doing my quilting or embroidering.

Too many to count. Many have won ribbons.

I love when you get a bunch of material and you see what a beautiful design or pattern comes from it.
l would love that you could show me around:) My dh & l are avid golfers, so that's part of the reason we chose to winter in the area. Love the cute golf carts! My favourite looked like a '57 chev , turquoise & cream. We also enjoy the 50's /60's dances...l even made a poodle skirt.
Joanne, we were at the Villages early this spring...just looking around, as we've sold our RV lot in Tx. Next winter we're staying just outside there in an RV resort. I noticed one quilt shop nearby on the highway, but was disappointed that all the others are in Ocala. My embroidery machine is the Brother PE 770.Love making tops while I'm away then quilting them up at home on my Bailey.
