Hi Jennifer. I am glad the baby doll quilts made it to you, they were a lot of fun to do. I'm not sure where I got the fabric, I was going through my stash and that fabric just seemed perfect for doll quilts. Now I just need another project or two to use the rest of the fabric on.LOL I did make the labels, an experiment really as they are the first I have made, but I like the way they rurned out.
Hi Jennifer,
I'm so glad it is working for you. I took a course to repair mechanical machines in November of 2011. I wanted to be able to repair my machines myself. So far, I have fixed my daughter's white featherweight which needed to be taken apart not only underneath where someone had gotten the thread tangled, but also the tension knob. After I fixed hers, my sister had me put on a new belt and check out her white featherweight. My mom, who is 82, decided she wanted a featherweight. I found one and did all the repairs on it. I own three featherweights: black, white, and tan. I did all the repairs on those. So, I guess the course that I took has paid for itself.
P.S. I have 24 sewing machines. The only ones I can't repair are the computerized ones. I actually like sewing on the older machines better.

You'll love your kindle for reading! I've read more books in the last year on my Kindle...than I have for the last decade... it's so easy to start a series, or an author's work and keep reading until you finish with it. Then jump on to something else recommended.
Enjoy Butter in the Well, and keep reading!

no worries. I will get it sent it by tomorrow
No worries.. hope your mom continues to do well. You have been very busy!
How far do you want to travel? I live in mifflinburg pa there is an amish store called vernas (you might have heard it) she has everything you can thing of there. I know the trip from ashland is about 45 minutes to her place and than about 5 more miles west is a bernina dealer who has very good quilt fabric a little pricey for my blood but beautiful fabric
No problem, I'll get them cut for you.. We'll say $45 for the yardage, fq's and a bit of the shipping.
I should have at least a yard or two of each of the pieces I sent you. Glad that you like them, hope you post pics when you get something done with them.
Picture please!! I'm sure yours will be very nice, there is alot of us new ones that is why this site is so good. We have the best of both worlds.
