I just came home from Virginia Beach. Just me and the kids. We left the hubby at home. It was a very last minute trip. My Dad has a time share there and at the last minute couldn't use it. I love that I am a stay at home Mommy and could go!
While we were there, they were having their annual art show right on the Boardwalk! It was amazing! I was slightly disappointed that there was not a single quilter. Lots of clothing but no quilts. It seemed wrong somehow. Come on ladies (and gents)…

I am so excited! The subflooring in the bathroom was replaced and I can shower tonight!!!!
Okay, let me back up. This past winter my washing machine died. When we pulled it out to replace it we noticed the floor under it was like a sponge. NOT GOOD. The floor and wall was completely rotted. There was also a squishy spot developing on the bathroom floor which is on the other side of the wall.

Music is another passion of mine. I love blasting it while quilting. Of course I have to blast it to hear it over the sewing machine ;) I am curious, does anyone else like to jam while quilting?
