Married,retired,mother of three, grandmother of nine and great grandmother of one and one due any day.Was a bookkeeper...so I really love the math of quilting,and the designing.Love all needle arts and cooking. I read quite a bit and love my kindle but still have a great love for books.
In my early working days I was a social worker and helped my husband with his
business. I was a troop leader with girl scouts when my girls were in school, about 15 years..lots of crafts and taught them to crochet and some sewing.
I'm from Boston and live here now in Bethel, Connecticut and just love it here.
How many quilts have you made?
Several..I never counted them all..lots of baby quilts,doll quilts, and gifts
Do you want to make quilts, or simply enjoy them?
How long have you been a quilter?
grandmother taught me but all in all about 15 to 20 years off and on.
What is your favorite quilting technique?
Nine patch..with embroidery and needle applique...want to finally get to make a Baltimore quilt. Just starting a nine patch with embroidery..red work, only in blue on blue and white.I plan an applique border. I love designing these the most..
Why do you quilt?
I am retired now and have the time and love quilts and mostly love the designing of a quilt.
