i acctually live right outside granger, on the river east of it. we have granger phone, taxes etc...but the street address lists as sunnyside. met a nieghbor said he doesn't understand the bit either but it puts us in sunnyside influence as far as insurance rates and they are cheaper for there. go figger lol. we are not locals, i quilt in a group in prosser and one in s'side but don't know a lot of people here. is your friend a quilter, and would she be in either of those groups?

anyway, like your blog...had thought about responding to your comment recently on basting spray. used it for the first time on quilts for my grdaughters for christmas. top d9p flannel, back novelty fleece, similar in weight and slipperyness as binky...have done a few now and was not looking forward to quilting them. saw the odorless dritz temperay basting spray and decided to try it. did in the house..windows closed..w minus temps at night, teens in day - open windows or outside not an option for little hedonist me :)). worked great! so now, plan to use it on quilt i am making for a friend. fmq, and she wants flannel back...i am sold on spray for this type of work...so nice not to have tucks and gathers on the back!

so..thanks for the invite, nice to "meet" you.
