sad to hear. blogs are a lot of work & if you do a .com one they can be pricey too. i don't do fb ..and they aren't nice to visitors even when the pages are public. so ..i guess i'll just enjoy your posts here, thanks for the response.
Thank you for sending me a picture of that Yule Time Magic Quilt. As I said, I have only recently started quilting, and only wish I had seen that quilt, when the fabric prints were still in print. I have tried to duplicate the prints, and colors, and some day I will get to that log cabin, but in the mean time I started a Paula Nadelstern Kaleidoscope Quilt as my first quilt. After 7 months I finished my queen size Kaleidoscope quilt top. I even designed the machine quilting I wanted to be done on it. I don't think it was to over the top, just a few feathers with pearls in the stem, some stitch in the ditch, and a little bit of bowed cross hatch. I never knew I was going to have to practically beg the long arm quilters in my area to do the job. After meeting with one personally, and numerous e-mails with attached pictures of both the quilt top, and the drawn quilting I wanted done, I finally found one person who agreed to do the job. She can not start it until May of this year. I only hope her work comes out as nice as yours, in the meantime I have attached a picture of the quilt top for you to see, and I will post it when it is completed. (At this rate maybe by Christmas.) I have just recently started another kaleidoscope and have attached a picture of that only pined together and just in my mirror for a visual. Hope you enjoy, and Thanks again. I am new to quilting, and when I first started looking a quilts on the net, I saw a picture of your Yule Time Magic Log Cabin Quilt. The picture was with the quilt on your long arm machine. I just fell in love with the color combinations and the beautiful quilting you were doing, I was inspired to start quilting. I saved the picture in my favorites, but my computer caught a virus and the tech cleared every thing in my computer, I lost the picture. Can you post a picture of that quilt again? I would like to make a similar log cabin quilt for myself, and would like to be able to bring a picture to the long arm quilter for her to replicate. Thanks. Mary Delisle
