Autumn on the Lake

When doing a watercolor landscape, anything goes! I used chopped up sunflowers and little calico prints to create this fall scene. (1-3/4 finished squares).

Strip pieced, I was inspired by a photo I took of the Grand Canyon at sunset a couple of years ago.

good morning (my time) !!

WIVSP = Work In Very Slow Progress --which has become my Quilting Modis Operandi last few years. always the outlaw, made all my own rules as i wandered, ergo, when young son teaching me to use pc & set me up w a email account that he told me never use my real name because of security, which was MUCH less of a internet issue years ago, i chose rogue quilter as my online name. there is now a quilt blog titled rogue quilter. actually a few, my two and her one. hers is the one that is maintained and kept up with. my online efforts seem to languish. you are like so many of our mqp members. either off using your time for creating fabulous quilt art or on the numerous online forums. i love playing on the net, but my main pursuits online are reading & research. of every topic under the sun :)). i didn't know you had a contract w fons&porter either. i am sure that most outfits like f&p encourage thier people to maintain frequent online presence as much of their income is generated now by online sales of classes & whatever.

and now ya know a bit more :))

Thank you, l feel honored. We're spending winter in Fla. and just purchased a house here ( not large), but it has a lot of wall space.l've begun a wall hanging that is going to be a "collage" of what represents 'Florida' to me. l find l must be " in the mood" to work on it, though, otherwise my progress is one step forward & 2 steps back.
