have not seen or heard mention of this book. i will look for and try to buy. it would be great additon to y personal q book library, my little conciet in referring to my books as library. love books have far too many, some of them are even about quilting! lollol i collected sev cookbooks during that time fr estate and yard sales of pensylvania dutch cooking, trays of tole painting etc. but there were not quilting books then of patterns for traditional motifs. so son & i drove backroads, took photos of barn hex designs, bought tourist trivia as a way to acquire some images to use. if i can see it, i can draw it... my thought was that if we ever stopped wandering i would have all my collections of information, both image & text to work with. we have stopped...but the unexpected has occured.....and all my sew room goodies, tools & idea sources are in boxes in garage. sigh! lollollol there are so many discussions on here re: sewing room contents. mil & others see the pile of boxes in garage and remark upon how much fabric i must have. lollol wrong! lace & trim collection...antique and not. yarns, crewel & knitting. threads...embroidery. not much sewing thread. have always bought as needed...can't buy here so mail order and building a stash for future need, shipping same on one spool or ten. baskets....love baskets, rolls of batt ...and my drawing pads, pencils images etc. i miss my stuff hahahahahah! so, maybe this winter i will be able to work some on basement and get partially moved down there. maybe. if life allows it. darn life...always geting in the way!

thank you for your note. and the title of & author of the book. i will look for it next time on pc. spend way more time on ipad now. can grab a few minutes of fun or silly during my "breaks" here at my forever job. and besides...it is HOT upstairs where pc lives! lollol
