I just saw a comment on the PHD site that said that some of the gals send quilts out to you to be quilted. I was wondering what you charge for an all over design and it you are taking on any more work.
I am scared to do my own quilting, but I am eager to learn free motion quilting. My daughter has a longarm quilting machine but I would love to learn to do my own as she has so many of her own to do.
I am in Texas. That is far to ship, but I may be willing. I am just thinking an all over design, what designs do you have or do you enjoy doing? What is the cost with and with out the batting...I do have some here...this quilt grew, but I always keep extra batting of all sizes on hand. I like cotton.
Thank you for the friend invitation. Yes, I accept! I got your address from the contest to finish projects by a certain date. My Hubby took it over to the drug store which has a post office. He was going to buy some milk at the some time. I'm cutting out squares from my flannels for another child's quilt.
Beth, I got a good look at the raffle quilt and it is spectacular. And all your quilts are lovely. I can't imagine getting that much done. Congratulations!
congratulations beth!! very well deserved........I think you need an extra award for the sheer AMOUNT of quilty things you get done.:) wonderful works!
Thank you Beth, The Spring quilt went to Houston, and Mom and I traveled to see it there. The summer before I took it along on a quilt tour of Norway(hence your fabric), folk there were pleased with the border quilting I was doing in spare moments. It was based on wood carving from Norwegian churches.
