Dorothy the only other picture I will show you is a hanky that I bead embroidered!  I originally only wanted to do the centre R with a tiny heart on the end. However, after I finished the piece it become apparent that I needed to do more on the outer section of the hanky.  It will eventually be framed. Hope you enjoy these few pictures. I will send another letter to you with picture of completed works. Bye for now Julie Beard.migh

Hi Dorothy, just sent you a note my friend from a land down under!!!!  Wanted to let you know that I took a look at your pictures of your quilts.  They are all absolutely amazing and so much better than mine but I must admit I think you have been quilting a lot longer than me. I think I would be a baby in your eyes and I consider you an expert/professional quilter!!!!!!

I feel somewhat thrilled at your acknowledge of my quilt making skills.  I can't thank you enough for making me feel good today with your words of encouragement. Now I only wish I could say something that will make you feel good and take some of your stresses away for a while. All I think I can say is that I will be praying for you and I will write to you on a more regualr basis from now.

Well it's quite early in the morning and I have not gone to bed yet as I'm not tired and I wanted to leave this litte note also.  So I going to head off back to making a few more half inch hexies before I go to bed. Bye until next Julie Beard.

Thank you so much, I really enjoyed it. I very much wish had I the patience to appliqué like your garden quilt. That is awesome, the colors are beautiful in it, and the quilting is fabulous.

Dorothy,

I am currently doing a simple Baltimore Album and have the pattern and fabric for Sue Garmin'

s Friends of Baltimore.  I recently attended Baltimore on the Prairie in Nebraska.  Had Jeanne Sullivan for a teacher.  She is awesome and so is her book, "Simply Successful Applique".  Joyce

Thank you so much for your comment on my stack and wack quilt.  It is hard to believe it started out as Christmas fabric.
