Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
TENNESSEE QUILTERS is a new group to make Quilt Friends. I just started this group to connect with fellow quilters in the Volunteer State....Border states welcome! The idea is to share events, patterns, some quilt history or family history and your favorite quilt shops. I would love to to take a road trip and stop at quilt shops and meeting up with quilt friends across the state. Oh it's just a dream gas is so high.....but we can do the same thing online. Join in Volunteers and others......let's get to know each other.

I live sooooooo close to Tn. Just five or six miles to the state line. I do longarm quilting and a lot of my ladies are from Puryear, Tn and Paris, Tn. I would love to stay in touch with what you TN gals have going on.
When I worked full time I would have to work late into the night if I wanted to get quilting done. I used to go to a quilt show in Ontario, CA every year and would actually take my vacation that week every year!!!!! I love quilting.
Thanks for the invite! I've lived here for 23 years. I love to quilt but don't have the time I wish I could devote to it due to a full time job. I also love to do primitive rug hooking! My favorite quilt shop is Gina's Bernina in the Knoxville area. I took a designing class there about 1 1/2 years ago with Kaffe Fassett. That was quite an experience! I've also taken an applique class there.
Lalena,
Thanks for finding me. Yes, I'm interested in joining this group.
I confess I still have to load some pictures of my work up on the site. I do have most of my work out on Facebook.
