As an introvert I am not used to sharing my thoughts with the "world" so this is my new beginning.  I will start with the  sewing room that my husband is building for me at our winter home in Texas. He wants me to stay longer in Texas than is my preference thus a separate room for keeping me happy.  And happy I am!! It has windows positioned to get the morning and afternoon sun and gulf breezes. I am collecting ideas for furnishings and have far more than I can possibly use.  Of course, I have at least three wall quilt ideas and a throw for the sofa bed (did I say it will be a guest room as well?) plus pillows, curtains and shabby chic end tables stenciled with quilt designs.  Doing all the work ourselves gives me plenty of time to plan and dream and give input to the process as well as to stain the siding and caulk the joints and give moral support.  It will not be done this year before we leave for the north but it will be weather proof and ready for me to do more dreaming and accumulating of artifacts to be part of the finished project. Oh, wouldn't it be loverly to win the sewing room from AQS contest!!!

Sharon, l'm a winter Texan too. We're on Mustang Is. in a motorhome parked on our lot at Gulf Waters RV Resort, near Port Aransas. We come from Oñt. Canada , staing from first wk. Ja. 'til mid April, when it gets too hot for us. We take our time going home, and golf our way through the Carolinas and Georgia, arriving home first wk. May. Keeping my fingers crossed that you win the many entries are you allowed?
