Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
Hi quilters! This is quilt number two of my "ten quilts by December" challenge and I loved working with these colors! Peach is a color I rarely use and now I wonder why? It's kind of delicious looking. I kept thinking about ice cream and cobbler and all things that are sweet and creamy the whole time I worked on it. I have the same reaction to Christmas fabrics but there's more Allspice involved..lol.. Anyway, my co-worker has a 1930's theme for her nursery so who better to show up for that than Sun Bonnet Sue? I know she's older than 1930 but she fits well for a baby girl. I included Umbrella Girl because she wears a bonnet. I've completed quilt number three as well and will post it later. I seriously LOVE my super cool excuse to quilt all the time. I keep saying to DH " Aren't you proud of my stick-to-it-ness regarding my self challenge? Don't you just love what a good mood it puts me in?" blah, blah, blah.. lol.....he buys it and I get away with a little extra me time. Until next time, happy quilting everyone!

Your so cleaver Karen.
It is adorable, Karen. You did a wonderful job. Look forward to seeing your next challenge.
I like the quilt and I also like the way you ask if he is not proud of you. What a great technique.
