I think they are sitting this one out - my niece Angie Mitchum Sharp and her quilt "One Wild Christmas Ride."

A few people (you know who you are and you are all my sister, Bev's children!) have neglected to send me pictures of their families with their Christmas quilt so I am stealing photos wherever I can and making do.  Here is my niece, Angie Mitchum Sharp as she claims her quilt on Thanksgiving night, even before it was her turn.

This quilt, "One Wild Christmas Ride," is the one I worried the most about getting chosen.  First off, the colors were EXTREME - hot pink, electric lime, Christmas red and green - and the prints were outrageous - pink flamingos with Santa Hats, orange Christmas ornament with poinsettias and Christmas trees.  But I guess for every unique quilt there is an equally unique quilt owner and Angie and her husband Zack fit the bill.  Angie told me the colors match her Christmas decorations this year (does she change them yearly I wondered?) and that it was a perfect fit.  When I saw her sitting on the quilt, staking it out until her time to choose - she was second to last being the baby of the cousins - I asked her, "do you like that quilt?" to which she responded, "What quilt?  You don't see any quilt here."

Enjoy it sweetheart.  It pleases my little ole heart that you took to it so quickly and will give it a good home!
