I won Viewers Choice and 1st place ribbons on Spring Shadows and 2nd place on Winter Garden at the Decatur  Quilt Fest this past weekend.  I also got to meet Maria Elkins (mariaelkins.com) and see some of her fascinating art quilts in person.

Thanks Judith. I had it on the frame for 4 weeks, but I didn't work on it all that time. I have a full time job and we were remodeling during that time also. I have an A1 longarm. I took almost a week to do the cutaway trapunto before loading it on the frame to quilt.

Congratulations! Beautiful quilting -- do you use a long arm and how many hours did it take?

That is some amazing quilting!!! Congrats on your ribbons.Certainly well deserved by looks of this picture. I can't imagine what it takes to lay out a quilting design like that. Thank you for posting it.
