I welcomed my new baby home last friday (A Bernina 440 QE).  Yes I finally have her.  The woman I bought my 180 E on ebay from knew I was wanting one.  She called me and asked if I wanted to trade the 180 e with the embroider machine she had sold me for the bernina 440qe with the stitch regulator and walking foot she just acquired.  It was no question (yes).  She sent it to me and I got it Friday.  I have played with her and love her.  The machine is newer so much quieter. Stitch regulator will make a free motion machine quilter out of me.  She is listing the 180 e on ebay and will have me ship it when it sells.  What a wonderful lady and very trusting person.  I will post pictures of  my machine soon.

Your machine looks beautiful! I have been wanting to start my herbs in pots like that. I think they would do great. But now that I got my new sewing machine I don't have time to do the garden thing ;) gee, I barley cook anymore ha ha ha.....

I meant the red and green ones that are on rollers.

The lettuce and beets we planted in the cups and the Kohlarabi on the top.

You can put strawberries and flowers in them.  We just experimented with some lettuce, beets and kohlarabi in the top and it seems to be working well. This is a picture of the pots we make.  Ours are the ones on the casters. I have also included a picture of the larger one as well

do you actually put strawberry plants in your strawberry pots, or something else??   I have a couple strawberry pots w/hen and chicks in them and that seems to work out very nicely.

i have 3 quilts in progress right now.  Sun bonnet sue needs bound, baby quilt needs quilted, graduate quilt is washed and starting to cut so I can piece.  Then I have 3 more in planning stages, fabrics picked, patterns picked just need to wash and cut.  I have been so busy with the garden, and making strawberry pots that I have not been able to sew. Then last week when I was on vacation we were finally working on our bathroom.  Sanding taping and mudding the walls to cover up bad seams and nails from previous owner then more sanding and prepping to paint.  Thursday painted ceiling and cabinets and shelves, Friday, painted walls. Saturday reframed door to hang new door. Sunday afternoon rested.  Tonight we are staining trim and moulding,  Have a little touch up painting to do.  Tomorrow install floor, thursday install trim and moulding.  Then friday have to work on making 4 or 5 more strawberry pots because we are a vendor at the Cheese Days in Toledo, WA on Saturday.  Sunday we barbeque chicken for our church picnic.  Maybe I will be able to see my sewing room after that.  I definately will be able to sew the following weekend because that is the craft day at the church.  Thank all of your ladies for your wonderful comments and i am so excited to be able to use her I can hardly contain myself.
