I have finished a quilt top!!!! YAY! It's a Sampler Quilt I was making from a fun thing Jane at the Cherry Pit had going...I chose to do bright colors because they are so out of my comfort zone...I am really happy how this one turned out after all...I used black sashing between the blocks with corner stones of the scraps in the blocks...then I found this great fabric with a black background with splashes of the colors in the blocks all over...have a wild harlequin print for the backing...will post a pix asap... Trying to decide whether to quilt this one myself since it calls for simple quilting or have a pro do it? Have to decide...I hope to be able to sell this one....

I also dug out a UFO of a denim...family and friends jeans...rag quilt I started a while back...it is flannel lined and I have embroidered (machine) all the grandkids names on it....it's for their bedroom when visiting Menammie & Papa Joey~~~My hubby promised me he would snip all the seams to save my hands~~~Isn't he sweet....then I think this one has to go to the laundrymat to save my washer and dryer....going to be lots of stings...will post this one too when done....enjoying sewing again so much...so glad my back is co-operating for me!!!
