So friends, I lost my brother Phil this past July. Super sad but at his funeral I got to see a bunch of family I should definitely see more often. My nieces and nephews (Phil had no children) all commented on how much they love the quilts I post on facebook. I love to quilt. I used to consider myself a newbie but three years and sixty plus quilts later I think of myself as a regular. Some of the excitement of buying fabric and the need to hurry up and finish a quilt has settled into a nice artistic energy that has made enough mistakes to really crank out a nice quilt. Has anyone ever used this method? My mother-in-law said did back in the 70's, but isn't near me to give instruction. I however, did find a website, and a book to learn how. Seems pretty simple. http://www.quiltyard.com/cotton_theory_quilting.phtml
