Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
On July 25th we welcome a Japanese exchange student into our family for the next year. We're very excited except for one problem: he'll be staying in my sewing room. Well, I shouldn't really call it my sewing room since no actual sewing is done in that room. It's really just my fabric stash closet. I have so much fabric I need an entire bedroom to store it. I actually sew at the dining room table. My design wall is an 8' x 10' piece of batting on the main wall of the dining…Continue

Hi all. Wondering if anyone on here uses the ironable Mylar for sewing? We were asked to make some in a diamond shape. Have only sold acrylic so far so we don't have any samples of what you would make with it. Any help or advice would be appreciated!

The pencils I will either pencil the color on dry and brush the textile medium over it,…Continue
I lost my job in April and have decided to try and make extra money by sewing and teaching. I also am just starting a store on Etsy which is called CharleneHsCorner. Things are not happening as fast as I would like. Do any of you have any suggestions or ideas?
Thanks so much,
Charlene in WS North Carolina
One of the projects I'll be teaching on an Australia/NZ quilt cruise is this cuddly Koala Bear on a Fabric Postcard.

I am happy to announce I get to retire from the Navy next year and will be looking forward to spending more time quilting and hopefully finding a way to turn this passion into profit.
