Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
I love your quilts - I have been quilting for about twelve years and I love machine applique. Is there any way to get your patterns? I have looked everywhere. I especially love your Baltimore squares with the House. Is that pattern available?
Hi, Janet,
Just discovered your quilts from a show posting on "diaryofaquiltingmaven" blog. I really love basket quilts and because my dad was a "mailman" for 33 years, I was really drawn to your "Letter Carrier" quilt. I would love to make one for my little sister in Phoenix (she has several quilts I've made for her and my nephews). Would you let me know when a pattern is available?
Hugs -
Kate (quaillady@comcast.net)
Hi Janet,
I would like to feature you in my weekly newspaper column, Art of Quilting, in The Daily Sentinel in Grand Junction, Colo. I've tried to phone you, but your number is not available. Please email me at Sherida.Warner@gjsentinel.com so we can correspond. I want to feature your work with alphabet quilts, your big winners in 2013 and your new block of the month for 2014. My cellphone number is 970-200-7437. I look forward to hearing from you and showcasing your great work. Thanks, Sherida Warner
I love your A Letter Bit of Baaltimore! If you ever publish the pattern I would definitely buy!
I had the opportunity of seeing your quilt, Charm School, at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Kentucky on Monday. I knew it was yours before I even read the wall bio. It is a beauty!!! I love the scavenger hunt which went along with the quilt! I could only view the front . . . I know the back is just a fabulous!!
I forgot to give you my contact information. It is jancreager@aol.com with the Topeka Capital City Quilters Guild.
Janet, I have heard wonderful thinks about your presentations. I am the program manager for the Topeka Capital Quilters Guild and would like to talk to you about a presentation for our guild. Please let me know your contact information so we can connect.
just saw "letter carriers" at HMQS. it is fantastic. i loved your others as well but did not realize that they were yours until i saw this site. your work is incredibly beautiful. would love to see patterns although i know i could never do anything nearly as beautiful as your work. love the detail. and the letter concept is really cool, too.
I saw the quilt " A Letter Bit of Baaltimore" and knew that it had to be yours!!! because of the amount of details and how well they are executed. I have also seen you quilt The Letter Carrier last year and voted for it to be People's Choice. Please let me know if you ever publish a book or patterns. Are you going to exhibit your Quilts in the near future? Your work should be feature in magazines or a book. Do you travel teach for Guilds?
Please let me know.
Congratulations you are very creative!, from Yoly
