- My background is embroidery, knitting, wool applique and quilting (machine piecing, paper piecing, machine applique).
I am inspired by my Mother (an accomplished quilter who has taught and had a quilt juried into the AQS Paducah show) & dear friend (a knitter, spinner, painter and artist).
Prefer working on my projects with friends to share the results- gravitate to knitting night and quilt retreat as I feed off camaraderie rather than competition.

Hello Amy, I tried to leave a comment on your farmer's wife block photo and it didn't want to let me do that. So, just wanted to say I really like that block. Did it come from the book The Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt?
