What a surprise! I am still at this site faithfully, though my quilt production has been falling since going back to work. A friend and I started a library with all volunteers and donations in an empty building at a local park($2. a month rent) Three years, eleven thousand books, and 800 patrons later we were given a contract to be loosely affiliated with the County Library System. No more bake sales to pay insurance and utilities. We even have salaries for those who want them. I work two 6 hour shifts, and come home and nap. Even BUY a book once in awhile.
Sorry to hear your husband had a bad year. Paul had a mild stroke in Jan., slight memory problems now; and a hip replacement in Aug, an amazing recovery from that. He is so much nicer to live with out of pain.
Silly Cecily, just because I was frightened of snail mail....Thank you so much for not letting us lose contact. Wonderwomen and girl are me and granddaughter Juliana after we had conquered the dark outlet tunnel at Malakoff Diggins. We made the mistake of shining our flashlights on the ceiling-covered densely with spiders. She is almost 14 now, and Grandma is too dull to visit compared to BEST friend.
