Hi Vickie. l saw your friend request on fb. To be honest, l've limited my exposure on fb. l do belong to the groups "longarm quilters", and "quilting". l'd be glad to accept you as a friend on here at mqp, so l'll send the request here shortly...then we can pm if you like :-)
Hi Vickie,
I don't know how to scan block 1 and send it. Last time when Beth wanted the pattern for Wind Farm I sent it to her by snail mail. (She sent me her address in a message that would be private so her address wouldn't be exposed on the internet.) I wish, however, to learn how to do this, so leave it with me and I'll ask some of more learned friends. I have your e-mail address written down. If worse comes to worse I'll send you the instructions for Block 1 by mail. Thanks for befriending me!
Hi Vickie, I have great sunlight when I open my front door and also a window that shines onto my long arm. You almost put the camera toward the light, but natural light has to stream across the top. Amazing what sunlight will do!
Thanks Vickie. The little pinwheels become part of the sashing. I have almost all the final pieces made and should be able to begin assembling the top soon. I am making it for my niece for Christmas so I need to get it done so I can get it on the longarm machine this coming week.
You're welcome. I'm glad you like it. Like I said in my note, I like giving practical, usable gifts. I wasn't sure of using bright colors, but right now as I'm writing this, MQP is scrolling through your photos of your quilt-along and I can see how you love births like me.
Thanks, Vickie - Finally getting back to doing my own stuff after working on other people's projects since August.
I'm still here, but have put all my other projects aside in order to finish the Mariner's Compass quilt. I'll be posting a photo when I'm done piecing it, and another when it's quilted and bound. THEN I can finish working on the quilt along quilt *grin*
Yes the Bambi quilt was fun to make and fast. Thank you.
Yes thank you Vickie. Is was funny how I found that fabric when my granddaughter was born I was going to make her the quilt but never did. I made others for her and forgot I had this fabric.
