Welcome to MQP Meegan!

Some times we are not sure where to visit on this site when I joined back about 6 months ago, I was not sure what I wanted to do. I did find several great groups so I want to introduce you to the Batik group. I started a Batik Strip Swap and the gals are doing a Blooming Nine Patch where they are posting pictures of their fabrics and progress and they are starting a Jewel Box Quilt with the 2.5" Batik Strips swapped. Everyone has a story about creating their first quilt. Sometimes the first quilt was made with someone special teaching you the basics.  Other times you decided to try it on your own through trial-and-error or with an instruction book.
