- Retired RN, been quilting about 20 years, having lots more time for this hobby now that I am retired. Love travel, gardening, quilting.

- How many quilts have you made?
- 30+ don't really know haven't kept track of them.
- Do you want to make quilts, or simply enjoy them?
- LIke making them, but can't wait until they are finished to enjoy them or give them away.
- How long have you been a quilter?
- 15-20 years, again I didn't write down the year I first started
- What is your favorite quilting technique?
- I like the pieceing of the quilt more than the quilting. Used to hand quilt most of my quilts but not so much anymore.
- Why do you quilt?
- It is a relaxing activity for me, and allows me to indulge my creative urges

You have a lot of experience! I did one of the quilts you made as well...the one you took a picture of on 9/2. I got it from the cover of a magazine. I JUST finished it. I just took quilting classes in October so I am REALLY new! I have done two queen sized quilts, one small one and a medium size one. I'm looking forward to my next one, although I haven't decided what that's going to be. I would love to make and heirloom quilt that I can pass down to my kids. I have a 21 year old son and 9 year old boy/girl twins. I guess I'd better get busy on the one for my oldest! I am having so much fun buying fabric and picking out patterns. I have so many things I want to do!
i don't facebook, and i got antigoogle yrs ago when they started taking over the world...& now the way they are both chronically under cyber attack..well.. so i hang here & at some other quilt sites on web, quilt oriented...no one seems motivated to plant bugs in these places. and the people are so cool, friendly and they like to quilt!!! web life can be no better than that!
