- Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
- I am a self professed quiltaholic, I love making quilts. I love fabric, thread, and all the other tools that go along with it. I always have several quilts in progress at any given time. I like lots of different techniques and enjoy learning new methods and new techniques. I was recently chosen as one of nine people by Quiltmaker magazine to make a quilt for their "Back To School" segment. I like to participate in swaps, row robins, etc. I am looking forward to getting to know the members of this group and participate in some of the swaps.
- How many quilts have you made?
- I'm sure it is more than 200 at this point.
- Do you want to make quilts, or simply enjoy them?
- Both
- How long have you been a quilter?
- Avidly since 1999
- What is your favorite quilting technique?
- It is difficult to narrow it down to one thing but I enjoy paper piecing, machine applique and piecing blocks.
- Why do you quilt?
- Because I get so much pleasure out of the finished product and I like to give them as gifts.

Sharon I love your Jewel Box quilt. Down load your quilt on the Batik Strip Page under Jewel Box - projects n pictures. Thanks for joining in the group, you are going to love the energy that these all do. We had all girls but now we have a gentleman in our group "Jim'. We all share an abundance of information so any time when you need a boost of inspiration or a question about anything the group is willing to be helpful.

Just here to introduce myself and welcome you to MQP.
Sometimes we are not sure where to visit on this site but I wanted to let you know that I have a group of gals and I that are doing several different quilts the Blooming Nine and the Jewel Box quilts. We are posting pictures with our choices of fabrics and progress. Carla Walton has done several of the Blooming Nine so she is our administrator. To do the Jewel Box we have a Batik Strip Swap going on and we are using those strips for the Jewel Box. Just come on over to join and then you can decide if you want to swap or just do the quilt projects.
