Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.

I have been sewing since I can remember, maybe since I was 4 years old. I started out with coin purses that could not hold a coin with my huge stitches. Before I knew it, mom let me use her sewing machine and I was designing doll clothes. Then I graduated to designing and making my own clothes as a preteen. In 2005, when I found out that I was going to be a grandma of twins girls, I thought it would be fun to make them similar, but not matching, quilts. That was the beginning of my quilting adventure! I love fabric and being creative, so it was a perfect match!
