Interesting. I talked to an Ethelda years ago. She was in Houma Louisiana. And I was named after a girl my dad met when he stayed at a boarding house in Louisiana back in the 30's. He was a musician. She was the little daughter of the owners. He just loved the name. Where did your aunt live?

Thank you Rose.  It is a labor of love.  Quilting keeps me as sane as I ever will be.  Most of the quilts I make are for my quilting group Quilts from Caring Hands.  It is a nonprofit that makes quilts for children/teens at risk.  We gave away our 8,000th quilt last December.
