My website is finally up. I am pretty technically challenged so this was a real step outside my box for me. I hope you will stop by and I would appreciate any feedback on how to improve it. I am not easily offended so please be honest.
Is everyone busy sewing for Christmas? I am not sure I will get any finished this year but my hope is I will be retiring at the end of the year and then I can find time to sew again.
Just joined the mystery quilt. I can hardly wait to go…

New to the world of blogging but I so enjoy reading everyone's I thought I might drop in and try it. I am glad to be among the sisterhood of quilters this day.
I am working on quilting a beautiful wall hanging for a customer that I have had to skin twice now and it is also the quilt that ended up with the Frixion pen markings on it. I am bound and determined to work steadily and finish it so the customer can have it back. It is my honor to quilt it and I just hope it ends up…

Hi Rebecca,
My anniversary dinner was scrumptious! Primerib, cajun shrimps, potato salad, broccoli salad, rice, pork loin, 3 pieces of cake: Black Forest, chocolate cheesecake, and white chocolate mousse; chocolate fudge and chocolate sauce. I left 1/2 piece of cake, just couldn't eat anymore! Good thing that I have only 1 husband and only do this once a year!
Rebecca, trying to respond to your last message, it isn't easy to figure out how to communicate on this site...can't just "respond". I live in Portland. We're neighbors! I'm attending this meetup next week, perhaps we can meet there.

I see you are a paralegal...just so happens I work with lawyers. My job is software consulting to law firms (billing software, practice management and document management.) Hope you come to the meetup.

Hello again! Thanks for adding me as a friend!
You know, I turned 50 this year and it was a total nothing of a day. I thought 50 was supposed to be special, but all it was was depressing! I have no idea where the 40's went! My mom turned 65 this year and she said it was a nothing kind of day too!
Well, I hope you're having a nice weekend. My big plan for the day is to make a big brunch. I'll be in the kitchen forever by the time I'm done cleaning up! Oh well. I promised my husband I'd do brunch like I used to do. I stopped doing it about five years ago because it was a lot of work!
Anyway, I hope you have a Merry Christmas as well!
Happy birthday, Rebecca~I hope you have a wonderful day!
I just noticed your comment about living in Oregon....where are you? I'm in Seaside. I joined this site because I don't have any "real life" quilting friends and thought this would be a great place to meet other quilters. I'd love to belong to a guild, but there isn't one in my town. Up in Astoria there's one, but they meet at a time that's not convenient for me. Anyway, I just thought I'd pop in and say hello!
