Has anyone out there done a BOM that they didn't like? I'm currently in one and I really will be glad when it's over.
I'm actually in three BOMs. Two in-store that we attend, and one through the mail. My favorite is at Common Thread in Tigard (near Portland) Oregon. Last year we did Wing and Prayer's Rhapsody and now we are completing their Contessa. These are beautiful, complex quilts that have a distinct challenge each month. But they are organized! The patterns are…

My husband is one of those guys. You know, why press the shower knob in when you can SMACK it. Why lift the car door lever when you can YANK it. So, even though it took me a while to figure out what happened, it wasn't a surprise.

Melody, the quilt along is a ball. It is in the designer batik swap group here on MQP. Don't worry, you don't have to swap, and it doesn't have to be batik. See my response on your comment, and please "come see us". LOL
melody I live about 30 miles west of Portland not to far from you My grandson lives in Battleground.
I don't visit this site very often -- so just saw your note. I also live on the La Center
border -- near the View/Amboy area not far from 503. Could we be neighbors and not
know it? Dorothy
