We are friends here. I get busy and don't comment so much sometimes. I work 60-70 hrs a week, teach quilt class, am on board at local theater, bowl one night a week, in a quilt guild, have church and keep pretty busy. have hospice patients and other patients I take care of
Hi Mary, became a caregiver for my husband till I lost him, now take care of people in their homes daily, except Sunday, and sometimes Hospice calls me to take care of someone in their lst days.
I love quilting and creating things. I still make most of my Christmas gifts.

I have to figure out how to move the quilts from facebook to here
Hello again, Mary. We have moved from our beautiful mountains down to Santa Cruz County to be closer to family. John has had a rough year health wise, but still managed to build a stable for the granddaughters to have critters. In case you ever get over your snail mail phobia, I would love to hear from you. My son has insisted that I learn to text, but I am old-school. That is no way to communicate. New address is 530 Light Springs Road, Aptos, CA 95003. Just in case. Big garden, tiny house. Nothing but hand sewing for now. Love the new picture of you and Paul. So happy... Cecily
thank you for the warm welcome. Yes, I noticed we are both in secret Santa and the gnome quilt. Are there other groups we have in common? Do you make costumes too? This is a very talented group.

I made my Shepard a sweater coat from a mans wool sweater. I cut sleeves off made a band for across the vest with two tabs the attach to the under belly with Velcro It’s not the prettiest but it keeps her warm and it’s very soft morino wool.
Thank you for the comments on my quilt. I will have to check out the other group UFO.
thank you Mary on your comment on my puppy quilt.
