Mark Sherman is a national award winning quilt maker, quilt designer and teacher. He has been quilting since 2001. He began his quilting career by accident, if you believe in those, making a tablecloth for an over-sized antique table. The rest is history. He has spent his quilting career designing his own quilts. In the process he has developed many innovative techniques which he is teaching the quilting community. He is an accomplished musician ( piano - vocal), fluent in Spanish, as well as an avid gardener. He is married to Sherry Woodhouse, M.D. and has two children Matthew ( Pharmacy student at UF ) and Sara (Sun Sentinel - Kids of Character Award Recipient ). He resides in Coral Springs, Florida.
