lol...oh my. i have tried to teach mine to just distribute the hair politely. but they still insist on shootin' some in. i have a couple of those small velcro lint brushes, one in my hand quilting box & one w my sewing tools. ...gets most of the hair...but the ones they shoot in are only removeable w packing tape or finger nail or damp hands. but i have always had a cat & in later years it's cats. they find me. especially where i am now. one rescue came w me from calif on our last move, one who followed my son home in portland and three from here. i usually put them to sleep. they are my love babies by the time i finally catch them. wonderful vet lets me hold them and love them to sleep. there is very little to no cat rescue help where i am. nearly all the dogs & puppys i have found dumped out here over the last nine years, i have managed to get rescued. and last fall, due to finding the most beautifl puppy which i was told by my usual dog rescue people was a blue nose pit, i am now in contact w pit rescue groups to the east of us. locally - no pit rescues at all.

love looking at the quilts you post photos of... but i have to tell you how much i love your photo avatar. i had a red & white "marmelaid" love too. i lost him to cancer several years ago. but he used to remind me when it was time for bed at night. he would walk between me and the machine, talking. when i ignored him he would go on back side of machine and crawl thru the arch, look up at me and tell me AGAIN ...c'mon mom! bed time! he was very vocal, walked around talking. he would respond to a person talking to him. a friend used to love him as much as i did, would always remark when she came over to play - "i can't get over that cat & the way he talks to me!"

been going to make this comment for a while. just on my way to look at your latest posts and decided i would come in and tell you about my rexy cat - christened Tyranosaurus Rex by my son, upon the arrival of this adoption into our lives. aka - tyrant, rickey-tickey-kitty and a few more nicknames all of which, when he heard, he would perk up his ears and stand and answer back.

he chased my rott/chow cross too, when that guy annoyed him or i lollol
