Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
I live in East Central Illinois, near Champaign-Urbana. I have loved sewing all my life and always wanted to be a quilter but didn't know how to or where to start. I had a friend who made a baby quilt for a baby shower and I fell in love. She taught me to quilt and it's been non-stop ever since. I bought a Voyager 17 quilting machine in 2007. I quilt for others and for myself! I love quilting AND piecing.
How many quilts have you made?
probably around 300 made and or quilted for others too.
Do you want to make quilts, or simply enjoy them?
make them
How long have you been a quilter?
since 2005
What is your favorite quilting technique?

Why do you quilt?
because I love to create and it makes me happy

How fun it was to work on this quilt!  I didn't know how I was going to quilt the set-in triangles all around the quilt, but I laid it down and just started drawing with my rulers and my chalk pencil and out came the design!  Thanks to Lisa H. Calle for her Divide and Design instruction - class at MQX Springfield (Midwest) and also her online iQuilt class!  I LOVE how this turned out.  Enjoy!…
