Happy birthday, Linda~I hope you have a wonderful day!
I love this, I've never before chatted to anyone online that i dont know and I too am very pleased to have found this site and decided to give it a go. Bamboo batting is very soft, and light and easy to use. I find it warm enough but it's hard to measure that, depends on the climate and what else is used. Maybe try it with a lap rug to get the feel of it. I currently work as the administrator for a real estate office, I've been here for about 18 months. My working history is very varied. Previously I was in Australia for a little more than 3 years and proir to that I was in Timor Leste (East Timor) for 2+ years. I've travelled a lot and worked in administration and finance roles in a lot of different industries. My 3 children are grown, now 35, 38 and 40. I have 3 grandchildren 7, 10 and 13. I gre up in very small communities of 200 to 1500 people and long to move back to somewhere smaller. Enough rambling for now.
Hi Linda, nice to meet you. I live in Auckland so there are plenty of shops around but i still often buy fabric online as most of the shops are quite small and have limited fabrics from any range. Do you buy online? I'm at work during the week (and hope to soon cut down to 4 days a week) so finding time and energy is a problem. This week it is very quiet at work so I can brows the internet and find lots of treasures and great ideas.
