Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
I live in Colorado Springs with My Wonderful Husband and two beautiful Girls. I own a quilt shop with my Sister and I am crazy about Longarming.
I love teaching LA Techniques and seeing that "Aha" moment in the eyes of new Longarmers.
How many quilts have you made?
I have only made @ 5 quilts, but have quilted 100's
Do you want to make quilts, or simply enjoy them?
Both!!
How long have you been a quilter?
Longarm Quilting for 4 years and Loving It!!!!
What is your favorite quilting technique?
Freehand Longarming
Why do you quilt?
It's what I love to do!!!!

Hi Laura... we had a busy weekend with two family birthdays.  Once life settled down on Monday, I was planning on coming to Nala's and then found out you're closed on Mondays... poor planning on my part. Hope to get out to see your shop soon!

Hi Laura... I was on this web site a while ago and "friended" you at that time.  You told me about your quilt shop nearby. Then I didn't get online for a long time and couldn't remember my darn password so I had to sign up again with another account.  This time I'm writing my password in my Daytimer!  LOL.  I still have to come see your shop. Maybe over this long weekend.  Anyway... just wanted to say hello.... and I'm baaaaaaaaaack.  LOL

Hello Laura,

I love my Millie!!  I'm thrilled.  Funny how things work out.  Your quilts are breath taking, when I grow up I want to be able to quilt just like you.  I really do admire your work.  I'm going to be trying my first bit of McTavishing on a wall hanging that has applique in the center.  But, I'm sure it will not compare to yours.
