"Riana - I used 5 inch squares to make 4 1/2 inch HSTs. You could use the 4 1/2 inch squares and end up with 4 inch HSTs. Your quilt would just be smaller. I still have lots of left over fabric to pick from. Do you need a care…"
"Chris - so nice to have you back! Yay for new sewing spaces. I hope you enjoy yours.

"Progress report: House in Ohio was in fine shape after sitting empty for 6 months, no repairs needed. Everything that needed to be moved from the RV to the house has been done, and the RV cleaned. Today it gets new tires, and then…"
"Chris - that turned out great! I made a minky backed quilt this summer and yeah - they are HEAVY! But the weight is part of its comfort factor. My stepdaughter has used it all winter for couch snuggling :) "
Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
Mother and grandmother, retired from Olive Garden, sewer, knitter, crocheter and quilter. Learning to free motion quilt now. Working on a Judy Neimeyer Mariner's Compass quilt (that I probably will not quilt myself) and a Bali Jewels quilt that I am going to quilt myself.
How many quilts have you made?
I've lost track. Somewhere around 20 to 30 I think. And lots of other quilted things.
Do you want to make quilts, or simply enjoy them?
I am making quilts, and I'm enjoying seeing pictures of other quilter's quilts.
