"Thanks, Linda, but I ended up making a scrappy backing for it. Had enough blue yardage that it will tie in with the front well enough.
Ginny, I saw this layout on a facebook quilting group. I loved the way it looked, and promptly changed…"
"I don't know if any of you still check this page, and I'll put this on Needle Spot, too, but THANK YOU to all those who sent a Log Cabin block. I made a few more, and ended up with this! Now must figure out a backing. …"
"Trudyann - please hang on to my block, and feel free to put off making it! We will be leaving here very soon. When we get to Ohio I'll post that address and you can mail it whenever it is convenient.
I know all about remodels and…"
"Trudyann - so happy the colors of the towel and potholder will suit the new kitchen! I know purple doesn't usually fall in the spectrum of colors called fall colors, but I was thinking about purple chrysanthemums and hoped the bronze…"
"Trudyann - USPS has failed again. Which doesn't surprise any of us. I mailed you two packages at the same time, because two of the things I got you wouldn't fit in the box. The first of those packages is showing as having…"
"Got my box today and found out it was from Kathy Gurgone which made it extra special as we got to meet Kathy and Joe this summer! Amongst other fun stuff was a T-shirt for me which said: If found wandering aimlessly around a fabric store…"
Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
Mother and grandmother, retired from Olive Garden, sewer, knitter, crocheter and quilter. Learning to free motion quilt now. Working on a Judy Neimeyer Mariner's Compass quilt (that I probably will not quilt myself) and a Bali Jewels quilt that I am going to quilt myself.
How many quilts have you made?
I've lost track. Somewhere around 20 to 30 I think. And lots of other quilted things.
Do you want to make quilts, or simply enjoy them?
I am making quilts, and I'm enjoying seeing pictures of other quilter's quilts.
