Hi Karen~thanks for adding me as a friend :)
Happy birthday, Karen~I hope you have a wonderful day!
Thanks for the offer, but part of the character of this quilt is it's quirky fabrics. Most are mini "girly" florals that I seldom use in my quilts generally (unless requested).I've mixed in a lot of pastel /mid value solids & mini plaids as well. I think I'll keep it with scallops using partials around edges. I'll have to stop work on it when I run out of the celery green fabric used for little diamonds.Other quilts I do are planned, but this is fun too.(Spaceship is exactly how it looks!)
What's your little business? Quilts to order? patterns ? supplies? My whole drapery business started when folks asked me to make curtains to go with quilts I'd made.
I have a flower garden quilt that's been under hand construction for a couple of yrs. I keep adding to it between my many other projects. The hard part of this pattern for me is knowing where to stop. It's kind of grown to an odd shape, using fabrics that wouldn't "fit in" with my other works. It's destination and size are undetermined...so it's my own version of a mystery quilt.Riana
