so sorry about the neck surgery. I had back surgery 4 years ago and still suffer from pain because of it. This is a very small world. I know your Aunt Katie and Uncle Ralph. Their son Steve went to school with my brother and is a very good friend of my husband Mike's.

I was telling my mom about finding you on this quilt site. She was so excited. She said she had a teacher by the name of Mrs Stovall and was wondering if she was any relation to you. My mom's first cousin lives there, her name is Barbara Andrews I can't remember her married name but I will find out. Her mom's name was Stella.  I hope you are able to keep quilting and embroidering. My mom is a big embroiderer. I have done quite a bit myself but I haven't in several years. Have a great evening. I feel like we are almost family. :)

Ersie Benfield was my great Aunt. She was married to my grandfathers brother. She was a sweet lady. Thank you for commenting back. I've given away most of the quilts I have made. But now that I am retired I am quilting for me. I just finished a top and now I have to get it quilted. I am excited about finishing some quilts that I have started but never finished. Have a great day.

Hi Jo, I was wondering how long you have lived  in Chaffee? My mom is from Chaffee. Her name was Delores Benfield.  I still have cousins there.  Happy Quilting!
