It has been so nice to finally wake up to see the sun shining for the past couple of days. This has been such a horrible winter for lots of us. Now I'm feeling my "batteries" getting recharged and the urge to get some of my UFOs finished is setting in.

I have sure enjoyed looking at the pictures of the Lancaster quilts. Has anyone w/AQS realized though that when you click on Diane Johnson's name it shows her living in Colorado Springs, CO instead of Pahrump NV? The man who won 2nd place lives in Colorado Springs so apparently someone just inadvertently put his town next to her name.

Happy birthday, Janet~I hope you have a wonderful day!
Janet, I was so surprised to see someone from Boonville, MO, my home town! I left there to move to Texas in 1961. Were you born in Boonville? What is your maiden name? That is, of course, if you don't mind saying. Boonville is such a small place ...it doesn't come up a lot, you know? Anyway, I was Linda Shelnutt (Class of '61) ... nice to meet you. Also, and not least, your Mariner's Compass is beautiful!
This is absolutely beautiful. Good job!
Hi Janet,
I am interested in learning applique, could you explain "back basting" or tell me where
to find information about how to do it? Thanks for your help!
Hi Janet,
We only (so far) have between 6-8 inches. Hopefully we won't get much more over night. I'm glad the snow passed by you, but it hit us. It was a good day to stay inside and quilt.
Hi, Janet
I just signed up for this. I guess we are in the same Quilt Guild. I remember seeing your name but don't know if we've met. I'm the co-chair for the Guild library. I just started this and haven't posted any pictures yet. Maybe later.
