Wow! Your honeymood too! I'll bet you had a really great time! How long ago did you get married? We had our honeymood 6 months after we got married because we were going to Hawaii and I wanted to go when it was wintertime here. I'm glad we waited because the tropics are great when I know it's freezing back home. Of course it was hard to leave! I love warm weather! I'd love to live in Arizona or New Mexico.
So, how did you learn how to quilt? There are no quilters in my family, so I had to teach myself using books and the internet. There aren't any classes around her. I'd love to take a class on machine quilting. I quilt my own quilts, but I just do easy stuff and I want to learn more complicated designs.
Thanks for writing back~I hope you have a good rest of the week!
Happy birthday, Holly~I hope you have a wonderful day!
I'm Bridget and I live in Seaside, Oregon. I never learned how to sew when I was younger, and it was a fluke that I even made a quilt, but I was totally hooked! I made quilts for all of my family members and wanted to keep making more, so I started making them to sell and donate.
I'm in a small town and don't have any quilter friends, so I joined this site in hopes of meeting others. At first it was hard to, but once I joined some of the groups it was much easiser. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful!
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and happy birthday!
