"Thank you so much, Ginny Andersen! It was a labor of love, that's for sure. My mom asked me to make it and she and dad would help with the expense. It was a combined gift from my parents and us, to my brother's youngest…"
Well, you should always listen to you grandmother!!! It is great that he gets on with your son, but at my age, the kids are gone and it is just the two of us, and if we weren't best friends, it just wouldn't work for me!!! So make sure it works for you, first and formost!!
Don't work yourself to death and always save time for you.
Ok, that's all the grandmotherly advice I'll give you!
Except, remember, girls don't just want to have fun, they need to!!
Are you a single parent? It looks like your son in the profile pic of you??? I raised two boys on my own, until I met my wonderful husband. Then we had two more boys and we are going on 31 years together! Women are the back bone of the world and we can adapt to anything the world throws at us! Keep on sewing, it calms the soul, to be creative!
I know what it is to be too busy to think! Two jobs??? Wow! I am living a "pioneers" life so the only job I have is gathering, growing, preserving, preparing, and cooking food!!! We live in the country and after my husbands second pulmonary embellism he retired and we started a new life style, all natural. I even grind wheat to make my own flour!!! I don't know how those real pioneer women got anything done!! Thank goodness we are vegetarians cuz I don't have the energy to take care of animals too! You keep your chin up, you are doing a great job!
