Salutations mon ami, de l'Ecosse
Hello and Bonjour Francoise, yes you are right we have more than quilting in common as my mother tongue is also French as I am Swiss from the french part...I am very happy to have you as friend in MQP . I see you like hand quilting, as I do. Despite I do more machine quilting ( it goes somehow faster ) I always have a quilt I hand quilt as I find it very therapeutic!
Hello Francoise, Very happy to have you as a friend you have already inspired me to join European quilters, there are, of course, long traditions of quilting in Ireland & UK, but we are so not so lucky to have access to as many quilting group as our American guys & gals and MQP has loads of great people who are only too willing to help.............Do you find that quilters are very very friendly too ???
Welcome Francoise!!! So you are a hand quilter? Good for you, I piece and quilt by machine and have been told that is cheating. But there are MANY women that do it that way. I wouldn't be very confident with my hand stitching. I would be afraid my quilt would fall apart at the first washing. HAHAHAHA
