hello again emmy. i read your post in missouri quilters. looked at your photos...those are delightful! are you going to post a pic of the complete quilt? would love to see it.

a note on posting pics at mqp if using a mobil device. since i received my i-pad last year my pc is sitting upstairs on my desk. and i am all over the house or out on the deck playing, visiting, chatting w friends etc on my i-pad. love it! love being mobile. but...posting pics to some sites like mqp are difficult. here is something i put in my album here as a help tool for this issue...

kudos to you and others that manage blogs. i have tried several times...do well..good intentions...wander off and pretty soon almost a year has passed. must be a genetic defect that i have managed to pass along also. lollol. my son is a software programmer..has started several techy blogs, started a couple websites...i go check on them once in a while ...he does same as i do ..works 'em for a while then just wanders off...

i will be back to your blog more often, now that i don't have to hunt for the link in my bookmarks list :))!?

Woo Hoo! It looks like all three of us are here now! :) I'm still trying to find my way around here. I don't spend a lot of time on the computer...but a lot of short bursts! I check every day that I can...and usually multiple times. It was nice meeting with you for lunch again. I'm looking forward to the sew-in at my place next month.

I'm busy getting ready for the retreat in TX next week...I'll be leaving early to meet with my ride in OKC Tues evening. We'll spend the night there and then go to Dallas to visit some quilt shops there.

Stay warm...spring will come soon...I HOPE! :)

Hi Emmy, finally found you here. Go to the Missouri group and join them there. You have to join the individual groups. I am having to do book work instead of sewing right now. Guess this weather is good for that too. Hope you have a good day and be careful going to your moms tomorrow.

Hi Emmy just here to introduce myself and welcome you to MQP.

Some times we are not sure where to visit on this site but I wanted to let you know that I have a group of gals and I that are doing several different quilts the Blooming Nine and the Jewel Box quilts. We are posting pictures with our choices of fabrics and progress. Carla Walton has done several of the Blooming Nine so she is our administrator. Come on over to view what we are doing at http://myquiltplace.com/group/batik-strip-swap/forum/topics/projects-and-pictures?xg_source=activity.

To do the Jewel Box we have a Batik Strip Swap going on and we are using those strips for the Jewel Box.
